Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy by conducting competitive research, identifying target audiences, benchmarking against industry best practices, and crafting compelling messaging.
  • Create and publish daily content (original text, images, videos, HTML) that encourages community members to take action and establishes meaningful connections.
  • Set up and optimize company pages across various social media platforms to enhance the visibility and reach of social content.
  • Moderate user-generated content in line with community guidelines and policies.
  • Establish editorial calendars and syndication schedules for consistent content distribution.
  • Continuously improve social media performance by capturing and analyzing relevant data/metrics, gaining insights, and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage the brand's reputation, identify key influencers, and coordinate cohesive actions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Social Media Specialist role should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience with social networking platforms and social analytics tools.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Familiarity with online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, customer-oriented, with excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations.
